Autor: John Fogerty. La banda Creedence Clearwater Revival: John (voz y primera guitarra), Tom Fogerty (guitarra rítmica), Stu Cook (bajo) y Doug Clifford (batería).
Banda de fines de los 60 y comienzos de los 70. Un puñado de temas (sólo 65) que hicieron historia. De ellos dijo Elvis: se escuchan mucho, pero más se van a escuchar dentro de 30 años. Supieron destronar en su país a los propios Beatles, Rollings y Floyd. Un estilo entre clásico y country, letras directas, la voz dura e inconfundible de Fogerty...
El tema (uno de los predilectos del Vermis) cuenta una sencilla historia (como todos los de la banda) con una expresividad única. Grabado en el disco Green River, en el momento de mayor esplendor.
